I am available for a variety of public talks and lectures.  Almost any aspect of the classical world can be chosen and those shown below are merely an example of the subjects that are possible. 

This talk centres on the ancient Greek oracular site of Delphi.  Through the media of archaeology, literature, architecture and art the importance of this famous ancient site, still visible today, is examined.

Through the study of literature, Greek tragedy  and art, the story of the priestess of Troy who predicted the Fall of Troy but who was not believed

From its earliest origins to its iconic, damaged image today a look at the Athenian Acropolis and its evolution through archaeology, architecture and art.

 

This talk looks at two mythological females, Antigone and Electra, and a study of their characterisation through an examination of literature, Greek tragedy and art.
